The time is fast approaching when TVs will be bought for their software as much as their clarity, color and contrast. We're looking forward to seeing the evolution of the world of Interactive TV this year at CES 2010. However, for all the interest and hype surrounding widgets and quick access to your twitter feed, very little seems ready to address one of the fundamental problems with the interactive TV experience. Any good user experience must have a solid foundation of a good input device.

The future of Flash Lite

This is the question on mine and many other developers minds. Up to this point I've developed many demo applications and a few rather large core phone user interface applications. And, to be honest, I'm concerned because I'm still not seeing enough of the common developer applications out there. I'm seeing a decent amount of Core UIs but I'd consider that to be the select few of the developers really doing much on a large scale with Flash Lite.
